What Does Psalm 33:4 Mean?

For the word of the LORD is upright, And all His work is done in faithfulness.

Psalm 33:4(NASB)

Verse of the Day

All those that have been born from above and have been clothed in the righteousness of Christ our Saviour, are called by our great Creator God, to worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness, to sing joyful praises to Him with our lips and in our hearts.

We are exhorted to shout for joy, to rejoice in the Lord always, and to make melodies to Him, both on a myriad of instruments and from the depth of our inner being. We are called to praise Him by faith with rejoicing praise and grateful thanksgiving, because the Word of the LORD is true. His Word is righteous altogether, and we can trust in all that He says and everything that He does, for He is faithful and true.

Should not we who are the unworthy recipients of His saving grace and unfailing love, give glory to our Creator God and sing praises to the God of our salvation? For the Word and wisdom, the promises and the precepts of our God are altogether upright and are perfect in righteous, and all His work is carried out in faithfulness, grace and truth. Praise His holy name.

"Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous;
it is fitting for the upright to praise him.
Praise the Lord with the harp;
make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre.
Sing to him a new song;
play skilfully, and shout for joy.

For the Word of the Lord is right and true;
he is faithful in all he does."

My Prayer

Glory be to our Saviour, the God of our salvation. Let me sing praises to You all the days of my life, for You alone are holy, You alone are the Lord, and Your Word is trustworthy and true. You have raised me up from the pit of destruction, and seated me together with Christ in heavenly places, for which I praise Your holy name forever and ever, AMEN.
