Ephesians 1:20(NASB)

Verse of the Day

The love of God is demonstrated to believers through the glorious inheritance that is ours in Christ. God's love is evidenced by the glorious position that we have in Him, the glorious future that we have been promised, and the glorious hope we have as His precious possession, for we were bought with a price.

Our privileges and our position, our hope, and our inheritance demonstrate the eternal power and surpassing greatness of our God. It was brought about by Christ, when he died on the Cross to pay the price for our sin and rose again to break the power of sin and death in our lives. It was brought about so that we might know the surpassing greatness of our God and the majesty of His divine, dynamic power.

In His love, God's wants us to KNOW what is the surpassing greatness of His mighty power towards us who believe, and He demonstrated this by raising Christ from the dead, receiving Him into the dwelling place of God, and seating Him on His heavenly throne of power in heavenly places. What a privilege for us that Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father, ever making intercession for us. What an indescribable blessing that He has already seated us in heavenly places with Christ.

And one day He will leave that seat and come in the clouds with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And we will meet Him in the air and forever be with Him.

Never let us doubt the mighty power of our mighty God.

My Prayer

Heavenly Father, I stand in awe of Your divine power and kneel before You in humble and grateful thanks, that You should make Yourself known to me in this wonderful way. Give me greater understanding of Your Resurrection power in my life. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
