Revelation 5:4

After the seven letters to the Churches, John is summoned up into the throne-room of heaven with the words: "Meta tauta (Come Up Hither)." He is greeted with multitudes of angelic beings glorifying God, and 24 stately elders who are seated on thrones and wearing golden crowns on their heads. Revelation 5:6

The amazing things John witnessed during his heavenly vision, fill us with wonder and awe. He saw multitudes of angelic beings worshipping at the throne of God. There were 24 stately elders casting their crowns before the Lord, crying out, "O Lord and God, You are worthy to receive glory, and honour, and power, because You have created all things, and because of Your will they exist and were created."

Revelation 5:7

John is given a glimpse of the heavenly throne-room of the great God of the universe, Who held the seven-sealed scroll in His right hand. Revelation 5:9

What an astonishing sight met the apostle's eyes after his supernatural rapture into heaven... as he saw a scroll, sealed with seven seals, being held in the hand of the Ancient of Days. He sat upon His heavenly throne in power and great glory - encompassed about by a magnificent emerald rainbow and a sea of glass before His feet.

Revelation 5:9

Christ's seven letters to the churches, contain valuable information for all who are born from above. They give godly guidance on how to walk in holiness of heart and humble obedience before the Lord. They inform us of those things that displease the Lord but they also detail the things that honour Him - and we are exhorted to listen attentively to all that the Spirit tells us through His Word.

Revelation 5:12

The seven-fold glories in this verse are sung in resplendent praise and worship to the Lord Jesus Christ, Who is the precious Lamb of God. It is in praise of Him that this wonderful chorus of rejoicing and worship will resound throughout the universe, when the enemy of our soul has been routed, and the gracious plans and wise purposes of God, (in establishing Christ in His rightful position on the throne of the universe) will be finally accomplished.
