Revelation 6:1

When John was caught up into the throne-room of heaven, He saw a document sealed with 7 seals, in the hand of the Ancient of Days. It could only be opened by the Lamb on the throne. Only the slain Lamb of God was worthy to break the seals and open the scroll. He alone is worthy to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

Revelation 6:2

The wages of sin is death, and the only way for man to be saved is EITHER - to live a perfect, sinless life, OR - to accept God's offer of salvation, for the forgiveness of sin, through Jesus Christ. The first way is impossible for sinful man, leaving only one way to be declared righteous by God and gain salvation - by grace through faith in Jesus.

Revelation 6:4

Because of unbelief, Israel failed to enter their promised rest and receive their inheritance, when they first crossed the Jordan and entered the Promised Land. They failed, once again, when they did not recognise the 'Day of their Visitation', and crucified the Lord of glory. Revelation 6:6

The seven seals of Revelation 6 begin to lay-out the chronological progression of the Great Tribulation. The first four judgments depict four horsemen, who gallop onto the world scene bringing devastation and distress to a world that has rejected God's offer of salvation, through faith in Christ's sacrificial death on Calvary and His glorious resurrection from the dead.
