Matthew 25:31(KJV)

Verse Thoughts

Today the Son of Man is seated on His Father's throne in heavenly splendour, but the day is coming when the Lord Jesus Christ will returns in the clouds, astride a white horse.. accompanied by thousands upon thousands of His holy angels - together with His faithful Church-age saints, all dressed in fine linen - clean and white .

The day is coming when the Son of Man will return in heavenly glory, to judge the gentiles; to fulfill His promises to Abraham; to set-up Israel at the head of the nations and to establish up His millennial rule on earth. On that day the Son of Man will sit upon His own glorious throne in the city of Jerusalem, at the beginning of His thousand year “Millenniam' reign of peace and prosperity on earth.

The 70th week of Daniel will have been completed. Every eye will see His approach. That old dragon called the devil and Satan will be bound for 1000 years and Old Testament saints will be resurrected from the dead and brightly shine like the stars of heaven.

The day is coming when the Lord Jesus Christ will return as King of kings and Lord of lords. The heavens will open and every eye will see the Son of Man, riding on a white horse. His eyes will be like a flame of fire and on His head will be many diadems.

He will wage war in righteousness, against the enemies of the most High God, and will tread the winepress of the fierceness of God's wrath and anger. The Son of Man will one day bring peace and righteousness to this war-torn world, for He alone is the long expected Prince of peace - He alone is the eternal King of Righteousness.

This wonderful second coming is when Jesus Christ returns with the church to defeat the antichrist, overthrow evil and then establish His thousand year reign upon earth. This wonderful second coming is when the Son of man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him. And then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory.

My Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You that I am not appointed for wrath, but have been saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus. Thank You that You have told us the end from the beginning, so that we do not need to fear, knowing that You are in control and that one day You will set up Your kingdom of righteousness and peace. We pray that many may come to faith in Jesus today, in Whose name we pray, AMEN.
