The Lord Jesus has been resurrected, ascended, glorified and highly exalted above every created being and a day is coming when every knee will bow before Him and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

One group of humanity will confess Him as Lord and Saviour - joyfully. The other will be forced to confess Him as Lord and Judge, but they will remain under His grievous condemnation. It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of a God.. Who has been rejected and blasphemed - but God is glorified by saint and sinner alike and a day is coming when ALL that God planned and purposed will be achieved, and Christ will be all in all. But why did it happen that the name of Jesus Christ has been highly exalted above every other name? And how will it happen that every knee will one day bow before His awesome throne - to the glory of God the Father?

Well, God is Spirit and God is eternal, but in order to become the sacrifice for the sin of humanity God had to become like one us. He had to become a man and live as a man (but without sinning) so that He could voluntarily offer His perfect, sinless life as the ransom price for the sin of the world.. the only acceptable payment for the sin of the imperfect, sinful race of humanity. The shocking price for sin and the only price that God would accept was the shed blood of the sinless Son of Man.

And so in the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ, God the eternal Son set aside His heavenly glory and was born into the human race, in order to carry out the most astonishing plan that God Himself had ordained in eternity past. His plan was the redemption of mankind, and He would achieve it by paying the price for the sin of the whole world Himself - and He would do this by means of His own death - for the wages of sin is death! The wages of your sin, my sin and the sin of the world is death - and at termendous cost, that price was paid for by the death of Christ

But that was only the first part of His amazing plan. Being the eternal God, death had no power over Him. Death has not power over eternal life.. and so He would rise from the dead - but being the perfect sinless Man, He would rise from the dead as the federal head of a New Creation, which could be entered into by all in who had been born into old creation in Adam..

They would become part of the New Creation, when they were born-again - and this would happen by grace through faith in Christ's death, burial and resurrection. God would not force people against their will to become part of His new race of humanity - and so from the beginning God equipped man with a free-will - to choose to accept Him and His free gift of Salvation or to reject Him and His offer to become part of the new, eternal creation in Christ.

What an incredible scheme and what a demonstration of God's goodness, grace and love that He should conceive and carry-out such an awe-inspiring plan.. so that whosever believes on Him (His death, burial and resurrection).. would be redeemed, forgiven of their sins, made part of His new creation; receive His resurrected, eternal life.. become an heir of salvation and be given power from on high to live a life that is honouring to God - simply by believing on the Person and work of Jesus.

What is more astonishing is that the majority of humanity refuses to accept God as their Creator and ignores His gracious offer of salvation. It is staggering to realise that so many reject His free gift of grace. But denying God as Creator and refusing His offer of salvation does not alter the facts that are laid out clearly in the Word of God. The day is coming when both the saved and the unsaved will bow before the Lord Jesus Christ as the Scriptures have stated. Those in the New Creation will joyfully bow before Him as their Redeemer and those who rejected His offer of salvation and remained members of the Old Creation will be forced to kneel before Him as their Judge - and as Scripture has stated - ALL will confess Him as Lord, and in so doing.. ALL will glorify the Father in heaven.

Those who are saved by grace through faith will joyfully confess Jesus as their Saviour and Lord and enter into His heavenly joy, while those who through foolish pride refused to acknowledge Him as God and rejected His free offer of salvation will also confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.. as the Scripture has stated - to the honour and glory of God. BUT they will be excluded forever from the heavenly joy that was once freely offered to all, by their gracious Creator.. and rejected due to foolish pride - for the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against ALL ungodliness and unrighteousness. ALL who remain part of the old fallen race of humanity will remain condemned.

Let us never forget that the gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation to ALL who believe and let us share the truth with all who will listen - so that many who kneel before Him will do so willingly, and joyfully confess Him as Saviour and Lord - to the glory of God the Father.

Heavenly Father, thank You that You have made Yourself known to us through Your creation, our God-given consciences and the inspired Scriptures. Use us we pray in these end times to share the good news of Christ so that many may hear and believe that Jesus Christ is both Lord and Saviour, to the glory of God the Father - in Jesus name we pray, AMEN.
